I wanted to try a book by Erin Healy since she has co-authored with Ted Dekker on a couple of books. This book was very interesting as it involved Lexi who is being threatened by someone in her past to pay a debt she knows nothing about or else face losing her daughter. While there is a lot of suspense it becomes obvious that this is more than meets the eye. There is a whole spiritual battle going on that seems to be at the forefront.
I enjoyed the book but I would say this is not my favorite in this genre. There were some spiritual elements missing considering what was going on. That being said, I would still read another of her books and will probably look for another one.
