Life, In Spite of Me

I sat down to read this and 2 hours later had it finished. This is such a wonderful story of God's miraculous power and how much He loves us and can use us in spite of ourselves. I appreciate Kristen's story and her willingness to share it. I think there are so many more people suffering under depression than we will ever know and its stories like hers that show God can get you through it. I am amazed at the different people who explained all the reasons how it's impossible she is still alive and yet she is here testifying to God's awesome power. What a great story and a great ministry she has started as a result of her life story.
I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.

Indivisible

I read this book after I read "Indelible" so I was at a little bit ahead of the game since I basically already new what was going to happen to the characters. I did like getting to know these characters a little bit better since they were all in "Indelible". It was nice to see how the relationship between Piper and Miles started. I enjoyed reading it although the drug dealers part of the story was a little confusing to me and seemed to be a bit disjointed.

The Dragons of Chiril by Donita K. Paul

This is the first novel I have read by Donita K. Paul and I enjoyed her story telling. I do generally enjoy fantasy and allegory and this was a sweet tale with plenty of thrills and adventure. I enjoyed the different types of dragons in the land although I would have liked to see the communication between Tipper and the dragons more developed. I have to say I really liked the character of Tipper's mother, very humorous. This book is certainly for all ages. The only negative I would say is the allegory wasn't that strong in the book. It was there but not very developed unless you were really looking for it. All in all a great fantasy book.
